I’m new to Westside but I’ve seen the positive impact the program has had on our players at Coopersville and I’m excited to bring my experience to the program to continue to grow the game in West Michigan.

Why do you love lacrosse? What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
I love Lacrosse because the game is still growing and constantly adapting. The skill of play increases every year and its fun to be a part of that growth.
My favorite Lacrosse memory was winning the conference title my senior year at Jenison. It took 4 years of work and starting a new program to get there but I would do it all again in a heartbeat.
West Side Testimony.
After only 1 year of playing Westside I learned enough about the game to take my talents to the next level. The Coaches are some of the best I have been around and tools learned in the program last a lifetime.

Why do you love lacrosse?
I love and have always loved the brotherhood of the lacrosse community. Thirty years later, my closest friends from college are my former teammates.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
It has always been the people I played with and against, whether it be in college or playing men’s club lacrosse after college.
Brief West Side Testimony.
As a parent of a Westside player and a coach with Westside it is truly a remarkable club. The coaching is top notch and the players and their parents are truly a family. One has to look no further than watching a high school game in West Michigan to know this. The players are always together after the game, and many times have fun interactions during the game. Murle Greer has created a culture of highly skilled lacrosse instruction for talented players, taught by dedicated coaches, with more playing opportunities than most, all done under the guise of it’s motto; Class and Respect.

West side not only makes you a better player but it is also a family and the people make it special. Growing up playing with guys and then getting to play them in high school and college makes games so much fun to play in.
